The history of the feeding bottle

Michael's collection

Hello, my name is Michael and I live in Lincolnshire, England. Below is part of my collection of baby feeders. The collection started some years ago when digging at the bottom of my garden I found an old bottle dump full of Victorian bottles (The house is three hundred years old). One of the more interesting items found was a double ended Allenbury feeder in perfect condition. As they say 'The rest is History' the collection has grown considerably over the years. It is great fun searching and scouring the antique fairs and car boots for 'new' items. I am delighted to find that a considerable amount of packaging has also managed to survive for a hundred years or more.
